SILLAGE
This project aims to revitalize the heritage and essence of local ruins, reinventing them in the form of interior furniture with the creation of modular tables. These tables are not simply utilitarian objects, but vectors of crystallized histories, conceived through the harmony of three distinct components: slabs, tiles and bricks, in hand-crafted ceramics.
Bricks, symbolizing sturdiness, form the backbone of these works, evoking the millennia-old foundations of forgotten buildings. The tiles, cast in relief from authentic fragments of ruins, delicately adorn the surface of these tables, awakening ancestral stories of the places they represent. The plates add a touch of balance and finesse, embodying the beauty and simplicity of traditional Mediterranean ceramics. Together, they are transformed into a functional artistic expression, offering users the opportunity to integrate elements of metamorphosed histories into their living spaces.
